Wow, what a crazy busy senior portrait season it has been at Joy Orcutt Photography! I can say it has been a mix of seniors doing sessions at both the NE Minneapolis studio and on-location. Senior portrait sessions are so awesome because I get to see so many different budding personalities shining through. Such an exciting time in a person's life, so many decisions. Minneapolis Children's Photographer|Colorful, Fun Photo Session Minneapolis
This fun family came back to the studio for a colorful summer session. They had purchased my two-for-one sessions (you can find out about that and other specials by 'liking' Joy Orcutt Photography on Facebook). How great to do a session in the winter time and then have another session to use just for fun, for whenever. We were free to be playful and carefree. No stiff poses here, just let the kids pretty much play and tell me all about their favorite things.

Minneapolis Senior Photographer|Twin Cities Senior Portraits
It is going to be a full senior portrait season at Joy Orcutt Photography. We have many seniors scheduled for their senior sessions this summer and fall. This senior from Blaine High School actually just finished modeling school. How fun for me to photograph a real pro! Seriously, we did get so many good shots because she was such a natural!

Minneapolis Newborn Photographer|Minneapolis Newborn Photography
I met the "L" family last year to photograph their daughter. This time, they came to my studio again with a new addition, a newborn baby girl! This was their newborn session but we managed to work in a couple pics of the whole family together. Little baby "L" was wide awake when they first arrived so we had some fun with everybody. Also, "C" showed me how big she is to hold her newborn baby sister.
I love this... just being silly, I love the closeness in this family photo.

and while mom was feeding the baby, big sister and I just chatted a bit... she wanted to try on some hats for fun.
