Minneapolis Senior Photographer|Blaine Class of 2011

It is amazing to me to meet senior after senior and with all of their differences they seem to have one thing in common, their drive. I know when I was embarking on my senior year, I wasn't this sophisticated, and focused. This Class of 2011 senior plans to attend college in Colorado and will likely study Mass Communications (to my urging!! Yay Mass Comm!)
I just really have this feeling she needs an audience...

She really does have a gorgeous smile too... I couldn't help but be captivated by her "serious" faces.

Bring on the Class of 2011! I am booking senior sessions left and right, its a beautiful thing. I love to meet with these young adults embarking on one of the most exciting seasons of life. Oh the possibilities!
This young woman plans to go to film school to study directing. I'm so excited for her.

All the best to you, and I'm so glad you chose me to take your senior pics!! Have a great summer!

Minneapolis Newborn Photographer|Newborn Photography Minneapolis

I've had the pleasure to do many newborn sessions lately! Gotta love that! There is something so incredible about photographing newborns. It is even more incredible watching and listening to parents standing nearby as I am posing the little babies and the "ooohs and ahhs" that follow when they see everything come together.

I can't recommend enough, having a newborn session done. There is something so precious about those first two weeks with your new baby, your new family member. They change and grow so rapidly in those first weeks. It is awesome to be able to look back at how small they were, in great detail.

Here are some sneak peeks from a recent busy Saturday at my NE Minneapolis studio. I love that I get to photograph the little details that make up a family. How about these two sets of identical little feet! It is always fun photographing twins.

and check out these blue-eyed beauties!!

Her older sister was so helpful, getting her little sister to look at the camera for us for a minute.

A lovely studio Saturday for me!

Lake Calhoun engagement session|engagement party

This lovely couple asked Jason and I to photograph their fabulous engagement party at the View http://www.viewcalhoun.com/ in Minneapolis. Beforehand though we took advantage of the beautiful scenery around the Lake Calhoun area for some engagement photos. They are so in love. There is no posing here, they were very comfortable and relaxed and just lovey.
The bride-to-be is stunning and had a plethera of beautiful dresses to choose from for the event. Please check out her clothing boutique in Uptown: Drama. http://www.shopatdrama.com/

Then time to party...

What a great event to be a part of, a special couple. We wish you the best for your upcoming wedding in St. Lucia!!

Duluth Mini Sessions|Minneapolis Children's Photographer

Wow, it's been so long since I have had a spare moment to blog... I almost forgot how to!
Over the 4th of July stretch I held mini sessions in Duluth. I filled every spot that I had intended so it was a great success. The sights of Duluth and its many picturesque backdrops would send any photographer into sensory overload. I decided to set up shot at the Rose Garden and Leif Erickson Park overlooking Lake Superior.

I love this shot of the superb stylist, so fun!

Lovebirds... awww, I love that bench!

The lovely gazebo in the Rose Garden. Odds are, if you lived in Duluth, you had your wedding photos taken there. I had mine there!
Thanks for the fun mini sessions everybody! It was great seeing old friends, seeing how families have grown. I will definitely be doing Duluth mini sessions again!
