How sweet this little newborn photo session was. Little miss "M" did a fantastic session. I mean, just look how she is cooperating with us and sleeping in a tiny little basket...

She was doing so well and we were ahead of schedule so there was a little bit of time to let big brother hold her and be in on a photo! Its a big job for a brother to hold his newborn sister!

I love photographing the newborn baby skin, so cute!

Minneapolis Senior Photographer | Looking back and moving forward

Just a quick post about a few of my clients from last year. All of my seniors have been so great to work with. The future is just begining for these rockin seniors and I am sure they will all do great things.

The class of 2010 is almost gone and the class of 2011 is looking to rock things this summer. We have spent all winter waiting and preparing for our 2011 seniors, new places to shoot, new studio and new ideas! Lets get together and show them how the class of 2011 does it!

I don't know why carnations get a bad rap. I've heard a lot of people say they are not their favorite or they just can't stand them. I love carnations. I love that they are so fluffy, voluminous, they remind me of tissue paper pom poms. I also love them because they are so fragrant. Another reason to love carnations... they last for a long time. Anyway, instead of taking a picture of my whole vase of carnations I thought I would showcase just one stem.

I have photographed these treasured clients of mine several times now. Mom came shining through again with a beautiful scheme of outfit colors. They always look like models from the Childrens Place. This is what family photography is all about.

Yes, I'm lining up my senior rep.'s for the class of 2011. I love this time of year. It is so enjoyable to hear my clients future plans, college plans and love of life. This reminds me of my senior photos. This is the only time that the focus is just on the senior. A new year, a new group of reps and a time to look back and remember that time in our lives.

Why a mini session?

A: This is a great way to experience a custom photography session at a great discount. Perhaps an abbreviated session suits your needs right now. A January mini session is a great way to get a family photo done for sending out New Year's cards and/or Valentine's Day cards.

What do I bring/wear?

A: Bright & fun always makes for interesting photographs! Perhaps you want a photograph of your little ones in red/pink or a spiffy outfit to send to Grandma for Valentine's Day! Perhaps you just got engaged over the holiday season, this would be a great way to get some romantic engagement photos done! Check out Etsy for great ideas.

I encourage bringing a couple outfits- Options are always good! Little ones can bring a favorite lovey or a favorite toy, that makes them feel right at home.

How can I make sure I get a mini session spot?

A: Email me or call right away! I will be scheduling out 20-minute spots throughout the day.

When can I expect to see my photos?

A: All mini session galleries will be posted approximately 2-3 weeks from session date. orders will all be due 7 days later, to ensure photos in time for Valentine's Day.
